This painting came to me as a continuous stream of creative activity. I completed this in one day because I was immersed in it.

This painting was inspired by a trip to the Catskills. I drove by this barn twenty times and each time thought how quaint and lovely it was. Finally one morning I came by with a camera and took a few photos. When I finally painted this, it was with genuine pleasure.
