I took a picture of Dylan, as a child, looking out the window of his Grandmother’s house. I painted it because I always thought the photo just looked like a painting.
This was painted from a picture that was taken in Morocco by a friend who thought it might have been part of a religious ceremony. The reflections of the people in the water were very cool to paint.
This was painted from a picture a friend took of a marketplace in Morocco. I found the contrast interesting between the old and the new, and also the light streaming through the top of the picture was challenging to paint.
This is a scene I drove by so many times until one day I took a picture and eventually painted it. Thank God I took the picture when the sun was playing with all the different textures.
